Release 2025-03 (June2025)
In the third release of 2025, we focused on small improvements that make the system easier to use, and we introduce user roles, making user management a lot easier.
General Improvements
User Roles
With this release we introduce user roles. You can now define roles in the system, assign rights to these roles and assign one or more role to a user. This makes managing users and rights much more efficient. See https://help.doqmind.com for more information.
Assets
Quick compare
Within the DOQMIND asset module, you can compare 2 versions of an asset, but you could not compare 2 assets without going through the compare+ module. We now added a ‘quick compare’ feature that allows you to easily compare 2 assets in asset management.

Improve folder creation behavior
We now show the newly created folder in the screen, so you can access it without searching or scrolling.
DAM export improvements
The file size is now included in the DAM metadata export. The export is generated in background instead. The user who requested the export will receive the excel per mail instead of having to wait for it.
Other improvements
There is a small delay before showing the full asset path tooltip when hovering over an asset name
Search now clears when opening a folder
Added a basket ‘cc’ smartname that allows you to show who was informed of a baset that was sent.
Projects
Import Excel: support for additional data types
DOQMIND already had the possibility to read project metadata entered in fill form tasks via excel files (see How-to: Automatically Fill in Form for more information about this existing feature).
This feature was limited to importing text fields only. With this release we support importing additional data types. We now support date, textarea and (multi)select fields.
Export Gantt
We re-introduced the possibility to export the Gantt chart. The Gantt can be exported as PDF or as Microsoft Projects compatible XML. The export contains all groups, task and milestones.

Smartname for project deadlines
There is now a smartname $$projectdeadline$$ that allows you to inform users of the set project deadline in emails or task descriptions.
Detailed Task Completion Tracking
We now display the exact time a task was completed, along with the specific actor responsible—especially useful when multiple actors are involved. Previously, only the completion date was shown.

Improvements for Personal Access Tokens
In order to use external analytic tools such as PowerBI an Personal Access Token is required. These tokens had a fixed lifetime of 1 year. It’s now possible to specify the lifetime of the tokens or generate a token without expiry date. Additionally, we’ll send reminder mails when a token is about to expire.

Other improvements:
In the download task in projects, it is now possible to download all assets again.
You can now clear all notifications in a task configuration with a single button.
For tasks with multiple actors assigned, we now show which actor performed the action.
Viewer
Enhanced Line-Up Controls
We've refined the asset alignment tools in compare mode, offering more precise control. This includes new shortcut keys that allow for fine-tuned adjustments, making the alignment process faster and more efficient.
