Actor

The actor is the person to which an individual task is assigned. An actor can be an internal or external user.

Ad-hoc project

Project started from the gantt chart view, without starting from a template.

Cycle

Approval cycle, one cycle equals one approval task and the tasks leading up to said task.

All of the connected tasks that occur after the end of the current task

Database

A database allows you to store values that can used as drop-down values in forms. Database can be used across multiple forms and allow relations to be created.

Form

A form provides a means for an actor to enter data. It collects information about the project or the tasks.

Modal

Window or dialog box that appears on top of the current page to display information or prompt the actor for input.

Example: completing a task happens in a modal.

Project

Projects are the basis of the Project Management. Projects allow you to manage an packaging artwork creation project from start to finish. I is managed by a Project Manager and consists of Tasks, Task Groups and Milestones.

Project Manager

The project manager is the person who is in charge of the project. He will be notified of errors and exceptions.

Project Template

A project template is a blueprint for new projects. It allows you to automatically set up all required tasks and executions in a new project. The gantt chart of the resulting project will contain some or all of the tasks of the template, depending on the use of conditions and forms.

Re-cycle

A cycle that is repeated. This occurs in the of a rejection in the context of an approval task. The re-cycle can be configured in the approval task configuration wizard. Here the scope of the re-cycle can be determined.

Relation

Allows to define constraints on values in multiple tables.

Stream

The path made up of tasks and its joining connections.

Smart Names

Smart names are variables that are placed in emails and that are replaced with a real value when they are sent. Smart names allow to specify project names, actors, due dates,… in email bodies or subjects. See Configure a mail template for more information.

Task configuration wizard

The wizard that is presented by double clicking a new task, represented by a grey block in the gantt chart view. Allows for configuration of the task

Task

A task is a discrete unit of work that needs to be completed as part of a larger project.

Table

The place in a database where data that is grouped together is stored.

All of the connected tasks that occur before the start of the current task.
