Pan‎

The pan tool allows you to move around the canvas. This will only be possible if you are zoomed in enough.

Pan is available through a number of ways:

Toolbar

Selecting the pan icon in the toolbar will change your cursor for a hand. By clicking and dragging, the artwork moves through the canvas.

Keyboard controls

While holding any other tool, simply holding the spacebar will temporarily activate the pan tool. This means that holding spacebar and clicking and dragging gives a convenient way to move the artwork around while doing other actions.

Mousewheel

Scrolling with the mousewheel will pan the artwork vertically. If your mouse has a secondary scroll wheel, this can be used to pan horizontally.

Touchpad

Using two fingers to hold and drag across a touchpad will pan in the direction you are moving your two fingers across the touch pad.

Minimap

It is also possible to use the minimap on the thumbnail in the pages section of the sidebar to move around the artwork. See the article Pages | Minimap
