Working with Baskets
Baskets enable you to securely gather, organize, and share your assets. This module also helps you monitor and manage the links you’ve shared with your partners.
Basket lifecycle
Baskets go through a number of statuses throughout their lifecycle.
In Preparation
When a basket is created, it gets the status ‘In preparation’. When a basket is in this state, you can add and remove assets and create folders. In this state you have the freedom to manipulate the content as you see fit.
Sent
As soon as a basket is sent, the content gets locked. It is no longer possible to add or remove items to the basket after sending. You can however duplicate the basket if needed.
When a basket is in sent state, you can manage the links. It’s possible to track the link status, send additional links, revoke links that were sent by accident, and approve or reject new link request.
Expired
When sending a basket, an expiry date is selected. This expiry date is maximum 2 weeks in the future. After a basket is expired it is no longer possible to download the basket. It’s also not possible to send new links for expired baskets. It is possible to consult the content of what was sent, and to see a history of what happened with the links.
Order created
For customers who have the integration with Athena Graphics Orders module, an additional basket status exist. When an Athena Graphics order is created from a basket, the basket itself will become locked. This allows to keep a trace of the content of the basket when the order was created. The basket can still be duplicated if new actions are required.
The following sections explain in detail how to create and manipulate baskets.
Sent + Order created
This status is for baskets that have been sent per email and for which an order has been created.
