Separations

The separations tab of the sidebar allows you to enable and disable separations within the pdf. The artwork shown in the canvas will be re-rendered when separations are enabled or disabled. The list of separations is divided in Process and Spot colors.

This allows you to see all objects that use a certain separation, or to get a general view of a single or a set of separations. The opposite is also possible: determine the composition of separations in a certain point on the artwork. For this, see the article on color measure.

Comparing Separations

When the viewer is open in compare mode, the separations tab in the sidebar will show the separations for both versions opened. Common separations between the two versions will have the enable/disable control present for both versions, while separations unique for a version will show “N/A” for the other version.
