Super users

A super user has full access to all assets in DOQMIND, regardless of how rights are configured on folders or assets. This is useful for administrators or key users who need unrestricted access without having to manage their rights individually.

Super users always have all rights enabled. When new rights are introduced in future updates, they are automatically granted to super users as well.

Making a user a super user

To make a user a super user, go to user management and open the edit modal for the relevant user. Check the Super user checkbox and save.

The super user checkbox is only visible to users with admin-level access.

Super users can also grant super user status to other users.

How super user status affects rights

When a user is a super user, all rights in their profile are enabled and greyed out. This reflects that their access is controlled by the super user status rather than individual right assignments.

Revoking super user status

To revoke super user status, uncheck the Super user checkbox in the user's edit modal and save.

When super user status is revoked, the user's rights return to whatever was configured before they were made a super user.

Super users can also revoke the super user status of other users.
