Release 2023-11 (2023.5)
This update introduces new features and improvements that will enhance your experience on DOQMIND. We are committed to continuously improving our testing and release procedures, to ensure that you receive the best possible experience.
For this release we focused on 2 areas:
the ‘assets’ interface has been re-written to use new underlying technologies. As part of this re-write a large number of useability improvements become available.
the ‘tasks' tab has been updated. The column layout can be customized and an advanced search is available on tasks.
These 2 features will be rolled out gradually to all our customers during the month of December and January. If you want to have access to these earlier, please contact your account manager.
Additionally, a number of small improvements will be available as of 27/11/2023.

General improvements
Online help updated
As part of this release https://help.doqmind.com now contains a new section on how to use the Assets module.
Project Management improvements
New tasks panel
This feature will be gradually released over the months of December 2023 and January 2023. Please contact your account manager if you want access to this earlier. This feature is activated for all your users.
The first major change is that tasks from the Orders module and from Assets/Projects are now displayed in separate tabs. The ‘Athena Graphics’ tab will contain tasks from Athena Orders, the DOQMIND tab will contain tasks from Projects and DAM+ approvals. The reason these have been split out is that the task types become increasingly different and building a single interface that is optimal for both Athena orders and DOQMIND would require making compromises that are not beneficial for you.
This new DOQMIND tasks panel allows a number of things:
Configure the columns that should be shown
The following columns are available:
See tasks from different actors. This allows me to see:
My tasks (as today)
All active tasks for the projects for which I am project manager
All active tasks on the system
Re-assign multiple tasks to a different actor via a bulk action
Advanced search on tasks
As part of the new tasks panel, an advanced search module is available for tasks.
Change project manager
It is now possible to change the Project Manager on existing projects.
This can be done on individual projects, but also as a bulk action on multiple projects.
Improvements in Projects advanced search
Some small improvements were made in the advanced search module introduced in the last release. These include search on empty value.
Assets improvements
Configurable columns
It is now possible for users to select which columns they want to see in list view. Users can select between system columns, but also custom columns. Previously custom columns were added on a system level and the same for all users.
Advanced search
The advanced search module has been re-worked to be aligned with the new Project Management search module.
Improvements requesting approvals
Automatically calculate due date
When requesting approvals, the system now proposes valid dates for each cycle. This is the next working day after the previous cycle.
Approval comments open in pop-up
This allows users to see the entire comment and to select and copy the text of the comment.
Reduced number of email sent during approval cycles
Users are no longer informed about actions they take themselves. For example, when you approve an item, you’ll no longer receive an email about your own individual approval. You’ll still get emails when other people approve/reject if relevant, but no longer on actions you take yourself. This should reduce the amount of emails received during an approval cycle.
Bug fixes and improvements
Various bugs have been fixed:
DQMD-438 As an external user with 'move' rights, I cannot execute the move.
DQMD-641 cloning task does not clone connections
DQMD-642 not able to make connection to cloned task
DQMD-759 active tasks: connection cannot be deleted in gantt chart view, can be deleted in task config
DQMD-828 completed tasks can be deleted while part of a group
DQMD-906 Zoekveld bij change actor in Asset approval werkt niet
DQMD-978 Double click on the project task in the gantt chart throws a frontend error.
DQMD-1075 Uploading new versions of assets has no mercy \(just like Chuck Norris\)
