Release 2025-04 (October 2025)
In the fourth release of 2025, we focused on user experience based on feedback.
General Improvements
Collapsible side bar
The collapsible sidebar gives you more screen space while keeping preconfigured filters and saved searches accessible. You can assign an icon to a saved search for easier distinction. The collapsible sidebar is available in all DOQMIND modules.

Search and filter improvements
We replaced the 'advanced search' module with a more flexible, visible filter system.

This system offers several advantages:
Better visibility of active filters
Add filters directly from list view columns
Easily add or remove conditions from pre-configured or saved searches
Combine quick search with specific filters
…
Use project metadata in the tasks module
We made project metadata available in the tasks module. You can view project metadata as columns and filter through saved searches.
Approvel/Rejection feedback is now more visible and accessible
Task execution screens now clearly display feedback from approval steps. They also provide easier access to comments and attachments.

Integration of asset and project metadata types
We previously added metadata to projects and assets. However, the metadata functionality differed between them. We updated the metadata system for both to align them. On top of that, we extended the “edit file properties” task in projects. You can now configure the task to automatically map project metadata to asset metadata.

Improvements in user management
In user management, we removed the ‘administrator’ right and split it into individual components. Now, there is an ‘impersonate’ right, allowing users to impersonate others for support. However, they cannot create new users or modify existing ones.
We also enhanced the display of user impersonation, making it clearer that you are impersonating another user.

Other improvements
We integrated a number of other improvements that improve useability.
Users can now overwrite an asset locked by a task in a project. A warning will appear when attempting to overwrite an asset, requiring confirmation of the action. For assets in an active approval loop, it is crucial to reject the ongoing approval cycle, as the newly uploaded asset will not be considered. However, this feature enables the upload of corrected versions of assets not involved in active loops.
You can now open active and busy tasks in the project detail task list, in addition to the already accessible done tasks.
We enhanced the change actor functionality, enabling precise control over which actor to change when multiple actors are active on a task. This prevents assigning the same actor to a task multiple times.
