Projects Rights
Internal users
The following is a list of Project Management rights availably in the Doqmind system. You might not see all of the rights bellow. You’ll only see rights that you have, and as an administrator/user manager you’ll only be able to propagate rights that you have to new/other users.
PM Rights are available for both internal and external users. External users only have access to folders that are shared with them.
Right | Description |

View | This Projects right gives the user access to the Projects module. If this is the only Projects right given to a user, they will have a complete read-only view of the Projects module. Together with “View”, other rights can be assigned to a user to control exactly what they can and cannot do in the Projects module. |
View gantt chart | “View gantt chart” allows users to view the gantt chart for projects or project templates. This right requires the view right. |

Create template | Users with the create template right can create templates. The ‘owner’ right needs to be given as well in order for this to work. Users with the create_template right can create the initial gantt chart, but they can not edit it after closing it. If you want users to be able to modify existing gantt charts in project templates, the view_gantt_chart right needs to be given as well |
Create forms | Users with the Create forms right are able to create and manage forms (see Forms for more information) |
Database management | Users with the Database management right are able to create and manage databases and relations (see The database manager for more information) |
Manage Checklist Templates | Gives access to the checklist builder. Create a checklist template |
Set project prefix | Gives access to the administration page and the project prefix section in the projects page. See Projects | Project-prefix |
Manage projects | Users with this right are eligible for selection when perform “Change project manager” |
Create project | Allows user to create a new project. Creating Projects |
Edit project metadata | Allows a user to edit the project metadata in an ad-hoc way. See Project details | Metadata and Project Metadata |
Export project metadata | Gives a user the option to export a list of projects and their metadata. Dashboard | Export-Projects |

Change due date on own project tasks | Makes the option "Change due date” available on tasks in projects you manage. Project details | Change-Actor-/-Change-due-date |

Change project status | Allows a user to manually change the status of a project. See Quick Actions | Change-status |

Set project notifications | Gives the option to a user to configure the notifications on templates and projects. |

Change actor on own tasks | “Change actor” allows a user to change the actors on tasks that have been assigned to them. |

External users
In Projects, external users can only be actors in tasks. Granting external users the “Execute tasks” right
makes them eligible for actor assignment
gives them access to the tasks module
and thus giving them the possibility to execute tasks.
